Double Din Repairs? Anybody know a place that can fix / repair Double Din Stereos, I dont know much about car products and stereos overall but I recently bought a JVC - Double Din, friend wired it all properly for me, but it doesnt work once I pass the JVC screen. The deck automatically slides up foward and theres 6 options OPEN TILT + CLOSE TILT - and Two others but Close isnt clickable on the touchscreen. Then it says MECHA PUSH RESET. and then I checked the Deck it appears that the gears that push the screen inwards and forward is broken ( the gears that rotate ) Cant contact JVC because I work the hours of techincal support wondering if anyone knows? |

thanks looks good, will give them a call tomorrow. Still open to other places if anyone knows thxss |
IT Electronics and Japan Electronics if they're still around. |
Nippon is the best of the three but they are still slow, inefficient and bleh. |
Chose Japan because its much closer and they charge the cheaper diagonostics fee. But will be a week or so till I get a call back |
I hate Japan electronics. I only use them for warranty repairs when I absolutely have no other choice. |
Whats wrong with Japan Electronics? |
Slow, forgetful, zero professionalism..... Last head unit I sent to them took over six months for a warranty repair |
Guess I can't count on " the call im supposed to be getting in one week " and follow up myself.. |
yup |
Got it back today, they fixed the tilt problem but in the diganostics they didnt even see that the motherboard has an issue because the deck still doesnt work . i had to followup everyday they said they would call back but didnt so I had to call 2-3 times going back tomorrow to tell them they didnt find this in the diganostics and wonder if theyll charge me even more for it |
