Just bought the pre sale, and got instant access to the beta. Holy fuck this game is gorgeous, and even more fun than the original. If you never had the chance to play Natural Selection, it was a half life mod that incorporated FPS and RTS gameplay into one. Marines vs Aliens, each trying to control the resource nodes on the map and expand their base to eventually destroy the enemy player's Hive/Command Center.
Exosuit is amazing in the game too. If you have a squad watching your back, you're a walking death machine.
Man do I ever miss Natural Selection! That was such an awesome half life mod. I remember spending a lot of time playing that with a few friends instead of CS.
