Problems with printers... help!

Hi Guys,

Having problems with a printer and was looking for some help. I'll try to give as much info as possible.

Currently have a Vostro 1520 laptop with Windows 7 Pro installed.

When I open Microsoft Outlook, and print an e-mail, I am able access a certain printer. Specifically, a Ricoh Aficio 3235C PCL6.

In that same e-mail, I have a .pdf attachment which I also try to print. However the Ricoh Aficio 3235 PCL6 does not appear in the list.

I have tried to uninstall and reinstall Acrobat hoping that it would appear to no avail.

When I try to make the Ricoh the default printer, I get the error: "Operation could not be completed (error 0x00000709). Double check the printer name and make sure that the printer is connected to the network."

I am able to print without hardwiring to the computer normally.

Can anyone help please! I will try to respond ASAP with more info if needed.

Printer added through tcp/ip or is it in a domain? Or USB connected to the Vostro?
