Funny.. there are ways to make a car fail, and it's not difficult either. So since they didn't fail the OP, I think he's just a douchebag himself.

A buddy of mine works there.. while it's really easy for them to make a car fail that would ordinarily pass (but only on the driving test), they can't make a car pass that would otherwise fail. The 'trick' only works one way..

If you saw them mess with something in between tests, which made your car fail the next test, you would have a valid reason to be pissed off.

...But they didn't, and people have already explained that sometimes, things just don't go as planned, and they have to re-test.
