installing google play on phone
 

well money is a bit tight so im gonna hold off on getting a new phone at the moment & just found out that u install google play on your phone

im a little confused on how to do this as im hoping this could be just a direct download & install though my phone, but it doesn't seem to look like it

i have android 2.3 on my crappy phone & im hoping to get some insight on this

any help would be appreciated & also wondering if anyone has does this before then

Google Play is the Google Market... It comes pre-installed

not for all android phones, most chinese brand smart phones dun have this

what phone model? does it support cyanogenmod?
My dad had ZTE SanFransico, it came with Mainland China rom. I had to root it then install cyanogenmod 7, then install google play in bootloader. It is a very painful procedure.

i have the huawei c8560 & its stilll suck on 2.3 not sure if it will install cyanogenmod 7

see what version of Cyanogen you can load on to the phone
you should be good after that and gApps

if not, you should be able to find the apk on XDA soemwhere

You'll have to root it. Those shitty china phones block all markets and APKs so you can't simply install the play store APK.

This is the closest root info I can find for your phone, but it is in Simplied Chinese and required login to download. Can't find anything on cyanogenmod or xda. I'd say just simply sell it and buy another cheap phone that has good aftermarket rom support
