C.R.M. Customer relations manager (MAXIMIZER)

anyone have any background on this?

is there any easy way to figure out how to use this program?

any advice or leads would be helpful and appreciated!

It's probably like other CRM solutions in it's customization and usage. Do you have any experience with other CRM software? What are you trying to accomplish with it?

i have no experience. but my office just got it and we need to transfer all our customers from paper to digital.

since everyone here is old and not very computer literate, ive been asked to try to figure it out.

You'd have to type out all the information into an excel spreadsheet before you can do a mass upload. Call tech to see if you can get a 'template.'

If you have to key it in manually from 'paper' why not just enter it directly into Max?

I would agree with translating the data to an excel sheet first. It'd be a lot quicker than entering each customer, individually, through the CRM interface.

thanks guys, that's already a big help.

gotta go find this "template"

Acura604 09-07-2012 01:40 PM

what version/edition? There are no templates.

Ulic Qel-Droma 09-07-2012 04:51 PM

if its something like salesforce, then tell your peeps its similar to facebook..

Are you guys working with Maximizer or with a partner directly?

Best to hire a consultant or some contractor to do all of the data uploading. And work with them in customizing the CRM to work in your environment. (Aka Sales/CRM Operations Admins)

Your going to need to implement a standard training program for all users to abide by..

Worst case scenario is for every client manager to input duplicate, erogenous data into the system and making the data difficult to work with.

if you dont have a template, you can outsource it ($2/hr). Let me know if you want details.

Ulic Qel-Droma 09-11-2012 11:29 AM

I think we are using entrepreneur 11.

2 bux an hour for a template eh? shouldn't it take no more than 1 day to create a template?

We don't have too many clients to enter that's the thing. maybe less than 20 or 50 tops.
