I went to the Apple store recently to really get a feel of the 5. Only thing I was happy about it is it's light. Just first impressions.

I don't work at Bell, what I do for work gives insider information on the Bellus network and network issues. So I thought I would share some knowledge so he doesn't go crazy.

i get ton of grease on mine. hair, fur, and stuff get stuck at the edge of the film. somehow, after about 2 weeks of installation, hair went under the film. the side protector is starting to peel off, especially the corner.

never buy screen protector with a sticky adhesive, these attracts a lot of fur and hair at the edge of the film.

Just got the 5 today, only can get 3G, even with LTE enabled. I'm with Bell. Is there just no LTE in my area?

check out "kuaiyong".. it's an iPhone file management system that allows you to search, download and install files on your iPhone 5 on iOS6..

can download from http://www.kuaiyong.com

I have personally tested it on my iPhone 5 on iOS6 and it works great..

^man last year was way easier and better. sold 4 in like 5minutes to some guy making 100+ each. This year was such a grind because I couldn't find a mass buyer + bought twice as many phones.

Not nesscary true.

If all you're using is 2G/3G here in Canada, it will work for sure.
As for 4G LTE, well...it will depend on which version you bought.

Which version should you buy if you want it to work for LTE? I'm with Fido.

+1
And plus, unless you can get one from Apple HK's lottery system...I wouldn't even bother buying it in Hong Kong.

My dad works in Hong Kong and says that the phone companies are offering deals so that it'll work out to be $500 for 32 GB.

Here are the three versions that Apple makes for the iPhone 5

GSM model A1428*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 4 and 17)

CDMA model A1429*: CDMA EV-DO Rev. A and Rev. B (800, 1900, 2100 MHz); UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5, 13, 25)

GSM model A1429*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5)

The CDMA model is sold in the States under Verizon and the HSPA bands are unlocked, which means you can use it on Fido under the 3G network. In fact if you only want 3G network access then all 3 models will work under Robelus

As for LTE network, Rogers/Fido, Bell and Telus use Band 4 (2100 / 1700MHz)
HK networks uses Band 3 for LTE, same as Australia and Singapore
