Squeak, rattle, and twang

This sumbitch is the bane of my existence. He squeaks, rattles, and twangs. I've currently got a sponge shoved in behind him to keep him from rattling too hard and its been like that for about a year, but I need a permanent solution.

I'm thinking of taking pieces of leather and putting them in between the pieces of metal where the screws are screwed, then screwing them in so the leather can help dampen some of that vibration.

Its only happening on one side, and happens if the speaker is on or not.

Any suggestions?

Rubber washers? Sound deadener behind speaker? I've got both if you're in the neighbourhood and want to see the rape dungeon again. LOL.

Long story....... it used to be called just the torture chamber, but El Bastardo thought rape dungeon sounded better.
