Obviously less of a heartbreak than the F40 but still sucks!

She claimed to have been distracted reaching for something and was casually talking with B.C. provincial insurance company I.C.B.C. about her dilemma. She even indicated that she wanted to drive her Benz away but others convinced here with all of that oil on the ground leaking from her car, it might not be the best idea.

Value will be affected yes.

I'm guessing he will go through insurance so he won't take a several Hundred thousand dollar hit all at once. Time will tell though.

Can carbon fiber even be fixed? I know the body is only made of 11 carbon fiber panels thanks to James May!!!

There's no way that F40 is getting repaired for less than the value of the car...

So I know there have been a lot of speculations on what caused this accident. Anyone know what REALLY happened? I just heard a different story of what might have happened..

Apparently the owner is a neurosurgeon , and he was drunk yesterday. He was smart enough not to drive his car, so he called his sister-in-law to come pick up the car and drive it off Van Dusen. Sister-in-law never drove one of these, so making a left on Oak, she punched it a little hard, road was damp, F40 lost control, hit a pole, and we know the rest.

Anyone else heard this version? My source is somewhat reliable, but who knows, I wasn't there when it happened!

Either way, that car was one of the few cars that caught my attention in there on Saturday. It is my ultimate dream car after all. Sad to see this happened! :( Hope it can be restored back to its original shape.

Wow, incredible how much false information is present in this thread. The true story is the one already posted about a neurosurgeon being the owner and the sister in law being the driver.

Oh really? This guy must be one hell of a video editor then

So they were driving a race worthy car with bald dry weather tires in bad weather and even if they werent speeding did something stupid.....Idiots by my standards.

using a business account to call someone an idiot. Idiot by my standards.
