I had spoke to someone by the name of Dave I believe. He said it was okay to bring your own mask. I guess they want to enforce theirs because its not a full mask and want to keep it in the whole theme of the scenario. As seen in the video in the previous posts theyre just the goggle and the mask. |

the lense in my vforce grill cost more than the whole rental mask. |
I would say I'd have to disagree wit Trollface. If I was worried about being shot in the face, Id rather have it wearing my actual mask (Dye i4). Most paintball masks are built not to fail. But there is the one or two occasional idiot that'll take their mask off when theyre not supposed to. |
our group of 12 is going on Nov 24th...hopefully they improve it by then or we're just gonna have our own fun out there lol |
i've been waiting a week for my time on when my group is supposed to start, looks like i gotta call on monday |
I would rather go for normal paintballing than this. Thanks for the reviews I actually had a thought how they would make the zombies, and of course it had to be real people and neither will they hire a bunch of people and run around chasing people, its just a hassle and costly. Good concept actually and idea, but too many related factors that makes this successful |
Has anyone actually found a phone number for these idiots ? i've sent them 2 emails already asking for when my time slot is and no answer |
They're at panther paintball. Try giving them a call Bookings and Information - 604-533-0890 |

Did this last night. It wasn't too bad, especially with some girls in the group who would scream at everything... made it seem more real. Haha. But yeah, for 50 bucks a person, I am alright with it. If you expect a super immersive experience with tons of zombies chasing you around it'd probably be a lot more expensive. I don't mind that there is a story and you have to follow it... it keeps things organized. If it was a real "zombie chase" type game, it'd be a lot more difficult to manage. What happens if the zombies catch you? What happens if you shoot a zombie and then when he dies, you just pump him full of additional shots just for kicks? Plus having people run amok around a forest with sticks and roots and rocks everywhere on the ground seems like a bad idea. All in all, it's pricey, but you'd spend $50 at the bar on a regular night out anyway, so at least this is something new. I'd recommend it, if you go in the dead of night and you bring some girls along, although my gf shot me in the back with a paintball. So there's risk of friendly fire, hahahah. |
I also did it last night, was pretty fun , went in with lowered expectations and came out with better than expected view, it was pretty fun however the goggles do fog up / are pretty scratched up already so i don't see a problem / reason why you wouldn't / arn't allowed to bring your own headgear. Also the zombies were pretty good and so were the actors however we did notice that there wasn't much from behind us which kinda sucks for the people in the back, which we told the guy at the end. Also there's one spot that they only come in from the left side not the right at all so kinda leaves the people on the right jipped because you don't want to shoot between the spaces of your friends incase you hit them (which did happen to a few). As said earlier the road isn't that great coming in however you need to be pretty low to really notice too much of a difference i went in just fine didn't touch the lip at all just be careful (05 sti on racecomp yellows) definitely worth the experience once if your a big zombie fan just like me. The whole group did think it was a little short couple min extra would be sweet. *to summarize* = - make it longer -have zombies come from behind as well once in a while so people in the back don't get bored - allow people to bring their own headgear so they can actually see where they're going - don't know if this is in the faq but tell people to wear contacts if they have them, i had a friend with glasses and he couldn't see anything / wasn't really able to put the mask on |
50bucks for 15mins of fun?? might as well go to the range. |
As of tonight we have amended the rules to allow people to bring their own headgear. You asked, we listened. :) |
^lolwut? Did ZombieCombatZone staff joined RS just to get feedback?? which one of you guys told him about this site :fullofwin: |
That guy named Google told us about the site. |

damn.. too bad I already booked regular paintball.. |
I think if they followed a similar format as richmond indoor where you can bring your own gun it should be okay provided you bring your own paint (just for chronograph) and air or c02 catridges and chronograph the gun down to maybe 240fps compared to the traditional 280-300 fps. Allow the only types of guns to be brought in are semi-automatic and not electric (speedball guns). My initial though on this place was "HOLY CRAP I GOTTA TRY THIS PLACE OUT!" But after I found out we can only use their guns I was a bit disappointed. I have a few paintball pistols I'd love to use figured this would be a perfect opportunity. Hopefully things will be revised as more feedback comes through |
