Rogers Customers!! log onto your account and check under " check upgrade eligibility". For some reason, my upgrade fee decreased substantially. Check yours, maybe it's a glitch? Cause my contract expires oct 2013, and yet my early upgrade fee is only $20, when a month ago, it was about $220. I received an s3 today for only a total of $160. Good deal huh? |
Rogers covering up to 150 of upgrade fees. Posted via RS Mobile |

Model - Samsung Galaxy S III™ 16GB White Device Price (Before $50 Hardware Upgrade Credit) - $149.99 Early Upgrade Fee - $0.00 Hardware Upgrade Administration Fee - $35.00 |
how do you do it on a business account |
My contract expires Dec 2013 and was under the impression that my hardware upgrade fee would be $20/month until I hit my upgrade eligibilty which is 30 months. Iv e even been told this by rogers when I last talked to them last month and even reading online. To my surprise I logged in and saw it was only $40. Rep in chat said its flex tab. Asked him why so cheap, he said its not based on how far into the contract you are but how far you are into paying off your phone. Well if my my account says its $40 then I guess there's no arguing it. I'm a happy camper but still hate robbers. Posted via RS Mobile |
Samsung Galaxy S3: Device: 149.99 (before $50 credit) Early upgrade: $140 Admin: $35 Kinda tempting to get an S3 for ~$300. |

It also says; "On the date above, you are eligible to upgrade to this new Rogers wireless device at the following prices, with select new 3-year term1 Voice and Data Plans, plus an Early Upgrade Fee2." Does that mean I cannot keep my retentions plan? |
For those who are looking for early upgrade... i suggest you guys call into the sales department. The advertise price of the s3 is 99.99, i don't understand why you guys are paying 149.99. I called in to sales to ask them to match bell's price when rogers were selling for 159.99. They transferred me to customer relations and the women somehow adjusted for my account to cost 99.99 and said she'll leave a note to waive off the early upgrade fee. Went to the store and paid 69.99 plus $26 early upgrade fee which will be adjusted on my bill according to the lady. Also got a $50 mail in coupon. TL;DR Call into rogers first before upgrading. the store, sales department, and customer relations are not working in conjunction. I've tried to upgrade to S3 about 6 - 7 times, and every time i call in, they quote me on different price. |
everything is back to normal. Hope you guys got your phone upgrades |
^^ Yup, mine went back to what I originally thought would have been the Upgrade Fee based on how I understood how Early Upgrade worked. Figured it was too good to be true coming from Robbers. Went back up to $208 from $40. |

when i chatted with them last week , they said 80 but when i walked in to get my ugprade the computer said 260. i called in and they said there was an error and it should be 200 (not sure why there's always diff numbers, first guy i spoke with said it was 13 per month and this guy said its 10). so it should have been 200 but he knocked it down to 150. |
Can they waive that $35 admin fee? |

I called rogers 2 weeks ago, my contract was to end Dec 2012. Offered me galaxy s3 16gb for $80 or 32gb for $120. Plus $50 rebate. Early upgrade $39, got admin fee waived. Went with the 32gb. Posted via RS Mobile |
