Symptoms of a failing Clutch Master Cylinder/Slave?
 

Hey quick question for you guys.

The car is a 2002 Honda Civic SiR

Is it possible that either my CMC or the slave is starting to go out?

-Inconsistent friction point for the clutch
-Once in a while clutch pedal sticks to the floor
-No leakage of the cluid fluid what so ever.

Let me know, thanks in advance!

Sounds more like theres air in the line and you need to bleed the fluid

Bleed the system first and see how it goes.

Bled the system, pedal sinks to the floor if after 6 or 7 pumps :pokerface:

you sure no leaks at the top of the pedal, behind the clutch master, inside?

Nope no leaks anywhere.

I double checked all the areas.

On the specific ep3 forums, the culprit is the clutch master cylinder. It has a major design flaw which has the tendency to fail pretty early.

EDIT: thanks for the feedback everyone! Gonna start ordering the cmc from the em2 and the slave.

Yup order the 01-05 civic em2. Samething applies for Rsx type S
