Symptoms of a failing Clutch Master Cylinder/Slave? Hey quick question for you guys. The car is a 2002 Honda Civic SiR Is it possible that either my CMC or the slave is starting to go out? -Inconsistent friction point for the clutch -Once in a while clutch pedal sticks to the floor -No leakage of the cluid fluid what so ever. Let me know, thanks in advance! |
Sounds more like theres air in the line and you need to bleed the fluid Posted via RS Mobile |
^ +1 Bleed the system first and see how it goes. |
Bled the system, pedal sinks to the floor if after 6 or 7 pumps  |
you sure no leaks at the top of the pedal, behind the clutch master, inside? |

I double checked all the areas. On the specific ep3 forums, the culprit is the clutch master cylinder. It has a major design flaw which has the tendency to fail pretty early. EDIT: thanks for the feedback everyone! Gonna start ordering the cmc from the em2 and the slave. |
Good luck |
