Once complete, the Port Mann Bridge will enter the Guinness Book of World Records as the widest bridge on the planet. The bridge is just over 65 metres wide for most of its 470-metre-long span, and reaches 65.231 metres at its widest points – beating the previous record set by the Sydney Harbour Bridge in Australia by more than 16 metres.

I felt that a thread based on a genuine cool fact deserved to be on its own thread VS a thread about the new bridge and all the good and bad things that comes with it thread.

it seems there was just 1 post about the bridge being the widest 5 days ago. Sue me for late to the discussion and being informative at the same time.

Mod's feel free to merge or lock this thread!
