Decorating Wedding Car

Hey everyone, I just wanted to know what kind of tape I should be using when sticking ribbons to a car for buddy's wedding so I don't ruin the paint or anything.

Thanks in advance

....just go to lordco and get some double-sided tape....3M is not necessary for something as simple as wedding decorations so get dat no-name shit...

If your paint is in good shape, it won't do anything. If it's old paint/bad shape, it will pull it right off. (Don't ask me how I know). That 3m trim tape is some STRONG shit.

Hence why I said go with the no-name shit rather than the 3M.

what about try painters tape and tape the ribbon on the under side of the hood...

3M might be a bit too strong IMO, perhaps use painters tape (green or blue) and just double side in square shape and stick on the ribbons/flowers etc...

Cheers!

Do not wax your car before or it won't stick. I don't think painters or masking tape will be strong enough.

i think i've used scotch tape before and it works fine :lawl:

i don't think wedding party cars are going to be vtak'ing through the city anyway.

but for the head car, make sure you tie those teddy bear bears nice and tight to the grill. my friend didn't do such a great job and when he got off the highway he realized he was missing the groom :lawl:

and if the bride bear is wearing a dress, clip that shit down or else she'll be driving around with the dress over her head...unless it's OK cuz that's how she rolls :troll:

make sure you do a test drive with them on first...you dont want ribbons flying around the highway..
