If used properly.

Only idiots post pictures of themselves being drunk or doing stupid unprofessional shit
that they wouldn't want their parents, relatives, co-workers, etc seeing.

Keep your FB clean and there won't be any problems.

I only had one message get shown, Wasnt anything important tho.. Just 61 posts of me and a high school friend catching up after she found my profile. I dont really have anything to hide as i live a fairly boring life -_-

I had to go clean up a ton of party/rave pics and stuff but it was kind of a fun trip down memory lane. No biggy. Had to reset privacy on some pic folders too.

They definitely weren't private messages. People used to have convos by replying on others walls, like someone here said.

Debated deleting my account and starting fresh again...but lazy...

from what i've read, first of all this issue was in france where timeline was JUST rolled out and french users claimed this happened

secondly both facebook engineers and techcrunch investigators confirmed this is bullshit and it's just old wall posts, not private messages

i just looked thru and there was some messages up there, but yeah it looks mostly like wall posts
