Suggestions for deskchairs/office chairs?

Looking to replace my chair that I have now. It scares me because the back fell off a few months ago while I was sitting..

You guys have any suggestions for a relatively good office chair that is comfy and has a high back/headrest? Looking for something that doesn't completely break the bank

Costco. :shefap:

^That, or try different ones at Staples. Unless you're willing to spend anywhere between $400-1000 for a Herman Miller chair, then you're set.

Herman Miller. Worth the money if you're in a chair for long periods.

Dont cheap out.

I spend 8+ hours a day on my chair and due to that i didnt want to cheap out.

omg, you bought and embody?!?!?!
Where did you get it? Always wanted to try one out!

Define "break the bank" as it is a very relative term.
For me, FiveDime's embody is breaking the bank, but I'd happily get an Aeron on craigslist.
But even then, $400 for a chair might just seem ridiculous to you.

Here is a decent place to start. Good selection at their showroom to try out.

You should get a bucket seat office chair, those things are freakin' awesome lol. But then it's not as comfortable as a soft leather or even mesh backed one. I've had my chair from Staples for about 3 years now, and it's great. Just gets a bit hot in the summer, and it squeaks loud lol. The mesh back ones are great in the summer though, not hot at all.

Went to XS Cargo for a Mesh chair

I just picked this up. It's so comfortable. If you are going to get one, get it from the US as it's half the price vs bought locally.

Staples has a decent selection of cheaper chairs, but unless you get something like a Serta, expect it to start squealing like a stabbed pig after a few months, unless you occasionally lube the moving parts.

I'd love to get a Hermaan, but I can't justify the cost. I guess until I start spending my entire day in a chair, I'll deal with my leather chair from Staples lol

Sorry I didn't see the "doesn't break the bank" part, maybe you can find replicas? :fullofwin:

I bought the chair at LivingSpace in gastown. It was $1600, but i take it alot like a good bed. You spend 8+ hours in anything... it might aswell be worth it.

You can get a Aeron off of CL for 400-500$ used.
