I thought about the new ones being built around 2nd Narrows, on the North Shore, close to the bridge, really close to Seymour and they are promoting all the trails and nature.

You can't really complain when 820-900sqft+ 2beds are around $630-750K. | Also live near Joyce. It's an underrated area IMO. Easy to get everywhere by transit, bike, and car. Prices are more reasonable.
It doesn't feel unsafe, even when I've walked past the station late at night. I'd say it's on the upswing.
That said, there's more trash around. For some reason littering seems more common here. Joyce itself is busy/loud because it's a truck route. It's not a "hip" neighbourhood. I think it's on the upswing though. The area around the station should be a bit more lively when the new retail opens up at the rental tower they're currently completing.

City just approved plans to develop 29th Station to Rupert Corridor ... but then that will take like 5-7 years before you see finished building and then another 10-12 before retail and community spaces are built.

I actually like the vision for the area. I'm a little bit to the north, more around 29th, and the Rupert/E 22nd corner is becoming quite a nice little area with the new Chong Lee and some cafes/bakeries.

It's like living near Brentwood but on Dawson or something like that, next to an autobody shop.
Yes there are some trails close by, but I wouldn't call it living in nature.
There's also the highway noise I'd be worried about.
And if the traffic is messed, good luck leaving or coming home.

Close to Seymour is a huge plus. Depends how often someone wants to leave north van if that's a good spot or not.
That said, you skip all the traffic on the cut so you can still get across ironworkers fairly fast if its fucked.

What do you all think about the Richmond Oval area? Pretty good quality builds there, a little premium pricing but overall, nice area, T&T, Dinesty, close to Badhobz.

I’m pretty woke but even I’m too racist to live in Richmond, and Richmond is too racist for me to live there as well.

Yah ... but the prospect of bumping into Badhobz more often is quite a draw and maybe to help me be less racist.

A couple weeks ago it came up that Burnaby's is pretty damn boring and not a particularly great city. Lo and behold even their Tourism department agrees.
Also this: https://www.reddit.com/r/burnaby/com...ng_in_burnaby/
Top two comments about the best thing in Burnaby is how easy it is to leave Burnaby.

Unfortunately, they cant create signs that say fuCK you WHITEY, go shoot up somewhere else. But thats the sentiment | So what is it? A supportive housing? Really a safe injection site? I want to see how far I have to look, away from that location.
I know of Modular Housing near Bridgeport Station. I know of proposed safe injection site near Richmond Hospital which was shut down, reversed, or cancelled. So where or what is this one? Near the courthouse?

why would you wanna live in that shit hole area anyways? First of all its really close to the airport and thus you'll hear the airplanes NON stop. Secondly, its chalked full of retards trying to get through richmond via river road and thus SUPER BUSY. Thirdly, and most importantly, ITS NOT CHEAP!!!! those apartments there, and specifically river green project is retardly expensive.
Id look at steveston area if you want a low rise. Nice, quiet, full of white people. Still only 10 minutes from no3 road if you drive.
Otherwise, if you need to be in the heart of the city, no3 road right next to richmond center is nice and upcoming. All new builds, no flight path problems, and overall lower priced.
