pretty cool how simple yet interesting those are |
:rukidding: .... i thought this was going to be some amazing fingerprint style artwork and not someone cutting and pasting features onto a finger and going "tadaaa" http://i0.kym-cdn.com/photos/images/...x297-59009.jpg |
Not to take this thread off-topic, but I was expecting the same as Stylin. Quote:
I'm confident in centuries to come, Close be considered one of the most talented and innovative artists of our lifetimes. I've been a fan of Close's work for a number of years, and he works in very unconventional media - including fingerprints! I was hoping this thread would be on an artist who had drawn inspiration from Close. A few samples... Spoiler! |
^ is this the guy that did a bob marley portrait with blunts roaches? |
^ i seen that at the vapor lounge downtown lol amazing work! |
So he just took a picture of a finger up close and photoshopped shit onto it? If that's the case, you could put anything finger-shaped in there :ifyouknow: and you'd get the same result. The main draw of the art (finger/fingerprints) is irrelevant to the art itself. |
