I tend to avoid the area but the gf likes to do some shopping at Deadly Couture whenever we are in the area  :megusta: At Nuba, which is nextdoor to DC, I once sat at a table next to Nardwar. :ahwow: |
The wine bar in the basement of Wildebeest is a great little spot..Not far away is the Keefer bar which is top notch..Guilt and Co for live music and board games..Boneta for appetizers and cocktails..Sardine can for spanish tapas... |
+1 for guilt and co. My friends jazz band played there one night and it's an awesome place. Posted via RS Mobile |
I like Gastown. One of my fav parts of Vancouver, but yah, a lot of the people in the neighbourhood are really stuck up. Guu, The Black Frog, Alibi Room, Revel Room, Pourhouse.... plus the great architecture and cobblestone streets make it a nice place to hang out. |
Love revel room, and poorhouse for awesome late night post-work eats. I always to Black frog to watch oilers games, as I moved here from edmonton 2 years ago, and its affiliated with my favourite bar back home, The Black Dog. |
I don't think there's a better patio in the city than Chill Winston. Viewings in the afternoons consists of hipsters and artists and viewings in the evenings comprise of surburban folk (think: women who can't walk in 5-inch heels) getting out of cabs, half-drunk and ready to hit post-modern or the Lamplighter. |
rumor has it Rodney's is moving in beside Milano?? would be cool to have oysters steps away from the office. |
