He means changing the rice to fried rice. |

Essential eating: wings, butter beef, dry pho. Butter beef is overpriced but damn its good. Posted via RS Mobile |

https://maps.google.ca/maps?ie=UTF8&...=A&gl=CA&hl=en Dammit been craving Phnom Penh all week because of this thread |
Given the hype, I waited for an hour to try their food. Wings 7/10 - the oil and sauce was too strong. It's more oily than "wind-sand" wings at Arberdeen but not as good. Pho 6/10 - probably not my taste. It has a totally different broth. The prices are quite expensive. I'd rather eat at a less busy pho place and skip the wait. Posted via RS Mobile |
Ummm...Phnom Pehn is not a pho place. |

how much is the butter beef |
$14 |
Looks good. I would like to know if there is MSG in there as well. A friend once said not to worry about MSG as it stands for mmmm so good! lol |
Food there must contains drugs or something in them :troll:. So good though :fullofwin:! But it's pricey for their chicken wings. I usually order wings and noodle soup. |
My gf and I have actually found the quality of the wings to have gone down in the past year or so. Now with that said though, they basically went from a 10/10 to a 8/10 for me which is still better than most of the other wings so it's still sick in my books. For those who don't want to go through the horrible wait times might want to consider Indochine on E Broadway. It's the son of Phnom Pehn who opened it and you can get the top 3 items there. Wings, butter beef, and Luc lac beef. The wings are for the most part the same but no tips, butter beef I haven't trie but looks the same, and the beef comes with fired rice and uses beef cubes instead of slices. So pretty close but not EXACT. It will definitely taste familiar for sure. |
Thought I might as well post pics of what Indochine's dishes look like The Wings http://www.vancitybuzz.com/wp-conten.../10/wings.jpeg Luc Lac Beef http://www.vancitybuzz.com/wp-conten...0/luc-lac.jpeg Butter Beef http://a1.urbancdn.com/w/s/zK/b4tRQJmdmnNdrc-640m.jpg |
