	   | is something wrong with my steering???

I have honda accord 7th gen and i am not sure if i remember correctly but is the steering supposed to be easy with one hand? I swear i used to be able to use my palm to steer when parallel park. Steering is near impossible now one handed. Is something wrong with my power steering? I have to refill my steering fluid every 3 months or so, is that normal?
Also when I turn my wheel to the left, I hear a slight creaking/knocking sound. Only to the left though. Will my problem be fixed for the noise if I get a wheel alignment? I noticed my car slightly veers off to the left when I let go of the wheel while going straight.

 Thanks!

I suspect your CV joint is dead on the left side... and No... refilling steering fluid every 3 months is not normal at all... get it checked

Might have a leak in the rack or a pressure line. Is the knock when you turn your wheel just when sitting still or when moving. If moving i agree with above your CV may be on its way out. If it is only when turning while stationary your power steering pump could be on its way out or low on fluid

Refilling any fluid every three months is not normal, not counting washer fluid. That means its going somewhere. Any oil/coolant system in a vehicle is a closed system and should not require topping up. Oil being an exception as every engine burns oil, they are designed to, and it's normal. Excess burning is not.Posted via RS Mobile

I will try to make a video and catch the sound if my phone mic is strong enough. Is there a way I can check myself if the cv or lines are leaking by myself? hard to afford all these repairs right now.

hey guys, i uploaded a short video on youtube of the sound. You might have to crank up the volume to start hearing the noise. Most of the sound is when I turn the wheel left. right side seems fine. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K-nqZ...ature=youtu.be

How is the steering on your guys steering wheel? should steering be easy with one hand? It seems my steering is really stiff now. I used to be able to turn very easily with my palms.

Since you don't seem mechanically inclined, take it to a shop and get a professional opinion.

Remove power steering and cruise control. Then you can control and feel everything while driving.

check your seals it might be leaking. when u feel too stiff when turning the steering wheel youre losing power assist. on the knocking side it could be your cv joint, check the cv joint for bearing wear and tear, there could be like dirt and sand on it and the lubricant wearing off

if your steering is real hard now and its been leaking for a while chances are your pump s pooched from prolonged cavitation. The leak is most likely in yuor rack so now you have two problems to address. new pump and new or repair existing steering rack.
