Google Chromebook

just when I thought netbooks were on its way out
Samsung delivers a ultrabook-like netbook for $249

11.6" 1366x768
new Exynos 5 dual-core
2GB ram
16GB SSD
6.5h battery life
1 USB3/1 USB2 port
HDMI
wifi/BT
sim card slot
Chrome OS
0.8" thick

I'm sure once the modding scene can put Android on it this is going to be a pretty good darn value.

that bezel is looking a bit thick...it's also heavy for its size (2.5lbs)

as someone puts it
80% MBA for 25% of the price lol

it's cool to see Chrome OS and Exynos 5 are finally in production, but if you think again. In practical, it's just another netbook. 0.8" thick is not an impressive number either.

Not sure what Chrome OS can do, for sure the latest android shouldn't be far behind.

^ The price point is the selling feature. It's not ground breaking, but its decent for a price that undercuts all the competitors. It's the hyundai genesis of the computer world lol.

If its easy for technologically retarded people to use I might be picking one up for a few family members. Not a bad xmas present to get an aunt or uncle surfing the net
