2005 Altima 3.5SE fan is always on Low
 

My friend's Altima has a strange issue.. the hvac fan works, but only on low.. even when it's set to high, the air is just barely coming out..

I've looked around and there are lots of solutions for:
A) Fan doesn't work at all
or B) Fan is always on High

Any thoughts for why the fan might always only work on Low?

Sounds like an electrical issue,

check your fan motor relay or resistor. i forgot which one is in charge of modulating flow

there is a resistor module under behind the glove box that needs to be replaced. same thing happens with the sentra and maxima. they all have the same module iirc.
