2013 Audi S8 vs 2013 BMW Alpina B7

Guess I'm bias because I have the 7 but Audi really upped their game with the S8 in terms of performance, 3.5secs is pretty nuts but not sure about the styling tho.

I love the styling of the previous D3 A8/S8. I'm not a huge fan of the grill, but their efforts in keeping weight down and cranking up the performance is unrivaled. I still prefer the interior of the Audi overall, especially in the D-class segment (7/S/A8).

O/T: a 2010 S8 with a v10 Gallardo engine is priced very attractively right now

drove it. very nice car. aluminium space frame :fullofwin: should have had dual clutch with that tt v8 would have been insane!! still love the 7 series and would rather have one instead of the a8/s8. i would also rather have the s63 instead of the s8 as well.

The Jaguar XJ Supercharged/Supersport is pretty light as well for a full size long wheelbase car and is supposed to be decent to drive too. Gotta love the classy yet unique interior and exterior style, makes the germans look bland.

Yup, the Jag has an all aluminum frame/body, the next gen 7 series will have the same.

The interior of the S8 looks so nice. I would have loved if Audi made the S8 a bit more aggressive but imo they're playing it way too safe with the overall design for to really go up against BMW and Mercedes.

A7>A8 imo (terms of looks)

between these two i give it to the Alpina or maybe that's just because i like the paint

just to add they need to make a new Transporter movie :)

did he say gangnam style at one point?:suspicious:

knight604 10-24-2012 08:19 PM

Yes he did .. unfortunately.

If i had to choose between A7 and 7 series, would love the A7 the look is so sharp.

The Audi S8 has some witch craft going on here!

I thought I'd like the Alpina more but Audi has been on a roll lately.

Interior feel of audi vehicles are always mindblowing, the sharpness of the instruments, the feel of the seats and the steering wheel :megusta:
Was it the S8 that still has a W12?

No the s8 has a V8TT, the audi A8L is the one with the w12.

Harvey Specter 10-24-2012 11:40 PM

A8L is basically the S600 and 760 for Audi.
