On Commercial drive, Havanas was good when I tried it a while ago. Falconetti's was visited by Diners, Drive inns, and dives.

If you're up for some Japanese, check out Kishimoto on the drive.
They do aburri salmon nigiri really well. And they have this unagi stone bowl rice dish. So damn good |

Happy Family Restaurant on Kingsway & Gladstone (Beside the KFC.) The food and service is pretty good and doesn't break the bank. Family owned and operated.

Specifically on The Drive, I would say Biercraft is still pretty decent. Good selection of beer and tasty mussels..
I personally like Chili Pepper House by Rupert, comfort food for me, Green Lettuce is similar stuff closer to Commercial on Kingsway by Victoria Dr.

I spoke to a few ppl and they all said the food is good there.

Much worse than Marcello's but even that was marginal at best (food was the redeeming factor).
I'm liking The Charlatan on the drive for food and drinks lately.
