help with taillights

I have a 90 si crx, I need to either replace them or fix them somehow as they are leaking. ie: water is getting in my car because of them. I was wondering if anyone has done any form of taillight swaps and if so what would look good? If I end up fixing them, where do I begin and what do I do and what do I use?

you could try to pull them apart.scrape off the old glue. get some new stuff from lordco (i used permatex windshield adhesive for my headlights and they didnt leak). stick it back to together. maybe in a weeks time apply some clear automotive silicone caulk (i also used permatex from lordco) and apply even bead along the edges of the lights.

or you could hit up the wreckers. with this weather it would be easy to see with tail lights leaks and which ones dont.lol.

I think it was Ralph's in Surrey that I went to a year ago, was looking for 90/91 tails for my 88. All the CRX tails were cracked or had one piece missing, had no luck there.

Give resealing them a shot, otherwise good luck with the hunt

Is water leaking into the car or into the housing? Or both?

If water is leaking into the trunk, I'd try replacing the tail light gaskets first.
If that doesn't work, then the lens or lens housing has a leak. Try sealing all the seams of the lens housing with silicone.
If your just gettng water pooling up inside the lens, another trick is to drill a small drain hole or 2 in the bottom the lens. Any water that leaks into the lens, theoretically, drains right out
