can't you ask places like ncix/me to do a special order if you are set on buying locally?

Why do you guys have to have this specific burner?

I dont think NCIX will do a special order unless they already gave that sku in their database.

if you want to use it to burn xbox games.. you can just use a reg dvd burner.. i have a reg LG one and no problems.. BlackOps 2 is a blast to play

i don't think u can buy it anywhere other than online. i didn't look too hard, but from my understanding the usual places sold out of them a long time ago.

I think I bought mine from ncix a while ago.

Bought one pre flashed on CL

RGH ftw, u save so much $ in the long run, and u don't have to worry about bad burns and ur laser wearing out. drag and drop.

by the time your laser wears out.. its prolly time to get a newer better burner anyways.. Ive burnt over 10s of xbox games and havent changed burners yet..

i'm talking about the laser on the xbox, not the burner. i used to burn on verbatims at 2.4x speed as well. not only was this expensive, it was time consuming, and occasionally i would get bad burns due to a nuked release. i got RGH done for $80 and had a spare external lying around. simple and it works.

I ended up throwing most of the games away coz the firmware change to LT3.0.. cant play the older burnt games pre-LT3.0

What is this RGH method?

I bought an IHas 324 b from futureshop (dtown one) last week (t'was an open box for 25 bucks). Just burnt my first game, works like a charm.
