it's a dent on my bumper. it's quite deep, not sure if you can see it on the pic.

heat it up and push it out and use touch up paint for the cheap fix.

Looks like a puncture and crack than a simple dent.

Yeah, it's a puncture from someone's license plate frame.

Sorry should have clarified that it's not a dent.

I had that before. A lady forgot to put her car into "park" when stopping at the ferry terminal. She tapped my rear bumper with her license plate screws.

The body shop fixed the bumper, repainted, my bill came to about $400.

Yes that can be repaired. 3M and a couple other companies make two part fillers and repair compounds to patch it. Yes it will also cost you about 4-500 bucks to do a nice job of it.
