7 fat people in that car and only 100 hp. That's not going anywhere.

So what exactly does this mean for people who own Suzukis now?

not sure if there is much support from aftermarkets manufacturers :badpokerface:

Aftermarket for Suzuki pretty much sucks. A lot of companies have been slowly discontinuing their parts.

I've been buying used parts off forums.

I don't get why North America doesn't get the JDM/European Swift

One would wonder on what would be the maintenance cost and what all parts would have been replaced in this 2 years, below are the list of parts which were replaced.

2 clutches
27 front brake pads
Three brake fluid flushes
A new wheel bearing
A new alternator and battery
52 Toyo 888 tires and four Goodyear Eagle F1s
1,847 gallons of 98-octane

For the record, this Swift sport has never broke on the ring or crashed even once, it still dyno's at 133bhp. Rent4Ring has still not scrapped the car, one of its customer has bought this and it will see some more rings in Nürburgring

Captain Slow called that car the heir to the Mini and I think that's really a great explanation for what the Real Swift was. Small, zippy, tight handling, fun to drive and inexpensive to own and operate. Very different from the BMW-revised Mini.

And truly a shame they never brought it here. It may have changed their destiny, and built them up as one of the small and surprising brands.
