LF: Laptop repair - LCD broken

Hey guys,

My buddy went to a place in Coquitlam before, but he doesnt remember the name nor does he have the number... :ahwow:

I found a laptop at work that was in the scrap pile, it seems to only need a new screen.

Im hesitant to order a new screen from ebay incase there's something else wrong with it, so I'm hoping a repair guy that knows more about laptop hardware than I do can help me out(obviously if new screen fixes it im gonna have them do it for me).

So post places, experiences etc please.

Apower - on shell road, north of bridgeport
$40 to diagnose. They will replaces HDD, Battery/Charger (Dr Battery brand) and RAM, usually the stuff that is normally replaceable... Anything to do with the chassis, screen, keyboard, etc they will refer you to somewhere else.

That doesn't help me.

If they can't fix the peripherals, how can I expect them to diagnose it right?

I can test hd, ram, power myself :bowrofl:
