Fast Dormancy
 
I was browsing XDA for ROMs for my phone and some dev recommend that Fast Dormancy be turned off to conserve battery life. So I got curious as to what Fast Dormancy is and heres a video of an alright cute girl explaining it:


Then a quick google search yielded that Fido/Rogers does not support Fast Dormancy, so I turned it off on my phone.

For Samsungs, type in *#9900# and disable it.

I'll report back after a day or 2 on how this has affected my battery life.
