noob question about hrs...

All right so I have to work next week on monday from 2pm to 9pm and then I have to work the very next day from 730am to 330pm. So in a span of 24 hours I have to work 15 hours in two separate shifts am I entitled to over time pay?

No you are not entitled to over time. Forgot but there needs to be X amount of hours between shifts. I think its 8 hours but could be wrong . I used to do it all the time, close from 2-1030 and start work at 6. But on the schedule it said 7am start to stay in that X amount of hours between shifts.

Not difficult at all to look it up yourself, just Google "BC labour overtime"
Government of B.C., Ministry of Labour, Employment Standards Branch, Hours of Work and Overtime Factsheet

No OT for you.

a day is midnight to midnight.

If you didnt work more than 8 hours in a day you dont get ot.

An employee must have at least 32 hours in a row free from work each week. If an employee works during this period, he or she must be paid time-and-a-half for all hours worked. This means that an employee who works seven days in a week must be paid time-and-a-half for one of the days, even if the employee worked less than 40 hours in total. The employer may pay time-and-a-half on the day with the least number of hours.

An employee is entitled to have eight hours off between shifts unless required to work because of an emergency.
