I picked up 6 of the Scythe Typhoon 120mm fans, an Asus Radeon HD 7750 and a Zalman CNPS14X. For some reason they removed the CPU cooler from my first order to I ahd to reorder it with more fans this morning

I would get a cheaper mechanical HDD and put that towards a better SSD. Mechanical HDDs should only ever be used for archiving now, so the only thing to consider is reliability, not "speed"

Whichever is cheaper

Or if significantly cheaper:

Crucial m4

Do you have a recommended 7200 hdd? Could be even as low as 320/500GB. As long as the reliability is good as it would be use for archiving some family photos.

Personally I would get two of whatever is cheap and reliable, and run them in RAID1. And cache it with an SSD

That's what I have now actually:

240 GB OCZ Vertex 3 - Windows install/some programs (photoshop, etc)
800 GB Intel DC-S3700 - All other programs
2x1 TB Seagate HDD RAID1 - Videos, music, photos... No programs run off these drives
128 GB Crucial m4 - A cache for the Seagate RAID, just in case I do run stuff off there
64GB left over from Crucial m4 - Scratch disk/temp storage

Pretty much nothing is running off an HDD, it's just there to store things. Obviously I am in a different scenario right now so I can do this easily, but I think next year most builds will be something like this. Or they should be!

I bought a M4, cause people on NCIX forums recommended it.
Even though at the time, I saw an Intel 330 at the same price.

So anyway, does anyone know what time does Cyber Monday starts?

Do you have any more info on this setup? I'll pick up another SSD Cyber Monday if it looks like something that'll benefit me. Right now my plan is:

Daily/Media whore PC
120GB HDD - OS/Programs
500GB HDD - Active torrents/Larger programs
2x2TB HDD RAID - Pictures, GoPro vids etc
250GB Ext HDD - Offsite backups

Gaming PC
60GB SSD - OS/important programs
1TB HDD - Larger programs

In most cases, caching is an alternative to an SSD setup. Depending on how many programs you can fit on your SSD, there may be no point in adding a second one as a cache.

For instance for your gaming PC, it might be better to use the 60GB as a cache for the HDD rather than running them separately. That 60GB will run out quick once some games are installed on it.
