Beautiful car. Actually spotted one in Vancouver this past summer which I posted in the spotted thread.

I liked the old styled headlights better

nice style but don't like it in red except for ferrari or nsx

There's a white one I saw a few times. Guy doesn't know how to park.

Is it just me or is it pretty outrageous that they charge for metallic/pearl paint on an $80000 car. Personally I'd jack up the base price a little and throw it in, makes you look less cheap as a manufacturer.

When other car companies and ricers all over copy LED strip headlights, you can charge whatever you want for cosmetic upgrades.

and people flip out at us for charging $300 for pearl paint and $135 for metallic.. :seriously:

Yeah, I remember you posting that one, have yet to see the red one in person. I've seen the white one a few times, and there was a black one parked at my school's staff parking lot.

interesting that 2013 RS5 makes 450 hp and the 2013 R8 only 430. Same engine and tranny.

also imagining how fast it would be with the 4.0T...

I sat in my co-worker's and man... is it nice inside and out, not to mention that it hulls.

Saw the red one during late summer on W4th. I quadruple took because I didn't even know the rs5 was available in NA at the time. Beautiful car, and I can only dream of how it drives.

Looks horrible with a front plate.

spotted a blue one at YVR parking 2 weeks ago, sexy.

The Misano Red you see actually looks orange under INTENSE light.

But, normally, just a bright red.

Like most cars, they look better in real life.

Was it a Misano Red? Or another colour?

Was it a younger woman or an older one? There are only 19 RS5s in BC for the next 2 years. Or, 1,500 total in North America (production is limited).

So.... about 12 in the Lower Mainland. I have yet to see 1 RS5 in the Lower Mainland. I have seen some old S5s and some face-lifted A5s. But, no RS5 and no face-lifted S5s.

That is because Audi rates the 430 at a lower RPM and the RS5 at a higher RPM. It's the same engine, but the RS5 goes a little faster than the V8 R8.

The RS5 is faster than the R8 (look at the chart), M5, M6, and M3.

The RS5 uses the S-tronic while the R8 uses a manual R tronic.

It drives very well. Not harsh at all. Good for a daily driver through its drive select (16 driving combinations). And the stock exhaust sounds are very smooth and just loud enough without being too abrasive.

It still looks good. But, better without the front plate.

This was the nearest I could park the car to the plane. There was a much closer spot, but an airport security jeep denied permission for driving closer to it. BUT, I was able to take it with another plane landing behind the Fedex plane.

I saw a white one behind me after work on main street turning onto the viaducts today. Again, just a phenomenal car.
Marshall do you have any plans to modify it or enjoy it as is? A slightly lower stance would make the car look terrifying to see in your rear view.

Yes, a slightly lower stance is better looking.

But, I won't be doing that.

Instead, I MAY do a capristo or milltek exhaust mod.

Not sure yet.

Great car Marshall. Audi makes very handsome cars especially in S and RS lineup.

I haven't driven't an RS5 yet but have driven a manual S5. That was a great car to drive. Awesome V8 sound. I can only imagine the RS5 to be better.

friends dad just ordered a rs5 2 weeks ago... cant wait to check it out in person

There's a black one in Victoria and those wave rotors look BAD ASS.

Yes, the rotor ones are the stock rims, which I changed.

Subjectively, I think the rotor wheels look.. normal or "stockish".
