Even though Top Gear rated the 1M to be one of the all time greats, I doubt anyone with a sensible logic would buy the car for $110,000

Lomac 12-01-2012 12:16 PM

Nah, someone will buy that car at the asking price. Which is sad, but considering part of the market share that's out here, not entirely surprising.

donjalapeno 12-01-2012 12:55 PM

I honestly would rather buy a new ISF spend $28500 money on mods put 10k in my savings and with the rest of the money go out to Gothams with my new ISF and splurge.

knight604 12-01-2012 01:07 PM

isf :fuckthatshit:

Doesnt even compare to the new M line.

Matsuda 12-01-2012 01:13 PM

I'm more bothered by the choice of wheels than I am the vinyl

bloodmack 12-01-2012 01:16 PM

japanese reliability
good looks

and this sound, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDnbLSVpOts

makes it comparable in my books. Im thinking in the long run, anything in the M line is going to cost money.

european 12-01-2012 01:37 PM

I saw that car at the luxury supercar weekend show thingy. I never knew it was that much.

knight604 12-01-2012 01:49 PM

M line looks even better, buying a 110k car ? People won't even care about reliablity because they are rich as fuck.

this sound better even on the e60 m5s.

donjalapeno 12-01-2012 01:53 PM

im speaking as if someone HANDS me $110000 and tells me to buy a car, if i was rich it would be a different story.

My car was cheaper and sounds better... :troll:

Probably not as fuel efficient though..

EDIT: IMO, waste of 110K. Why not get a 135 and JB it? If you want it to handle like a 1M, add some brakes and coil overs... I bet that will not even break 60K mark...

StylinRed 12-01-2012 05:34 PM

listing gone?

was it the 1M or a M1?

i take it from the reactions it was a 1 series in which case :lawl:

1M, the glorified 135i... If it was as an all original M1, I would understand the price, but 1M for 110K...

spyker 12-01-2012 05:49 PM

I'm not surpised one bit the add has been pulled, what is BJA thinking when they decided to list the car at that insane price.

sexyaccord 12-01-2012 06:15 PM

probably just a typo or mistake ?

spyker 12-01-2012 06:31 PM

I highly doubt it's a typo or a mistake, unless they are asking $11,000 for the car, then I will be at BJA first thing tommorrow or on Monday waiting for them to open and buy the car.

ilovebacon 12-01-2012 07:03 PM

Lol I think they really wanted 110g instead of 11gs..

hey broken_arrow, i'm curious as to why you bought a convertible vs a coupe m6 :suspicious:
it's so hard to find a coupe nowadays, not sure if it's the reason why you bought a vert instead. or u just wanted a convertible for the summer months?

I always wanted a vert to be honest. I had everything from sedans to coupes. I always loved the sound of the S85 V10 and with the roof down it is only amplified! An M6 coupe is a weapon. Relatively light for its size and definitely handles better then M6 cab and is a tad quicker/faster stock (the cab weights 450 lbs more then the coupe). I just realized that I will never use the car's handling and power to the max potential (this is true for both, coupe and cab), so I just decided to go with what I always wanted, a cab.

I have not regretted this decision at all. Surely, because we live in Canada, I have very limited use for the convertible, but when a perfect summer night comes around, it is all worth it!:fullofwin:
