Tsukemen Ramen in Richmond/Vancouver?

Does anybody know any Ramen shops in Richmond or Vancouver that serves proper Tsukemen-style ramen; cold ramen noodles dipped in concentrated broth?

Santouka has been the only place I've seen in Vancouver serving tsukemen.

Hahaha, well it piqued my interest in Lucky Peach but yes Mind of a Chef put me over the edge to actually seek it out.

Do you know where I can find episodes 2-4 or whatever? PBS online only has 1, then 5-8 or something.

Sorry, I don't. They were all on YouTube but they got taken down. I have PBS but they keep changing the dates and times so my Pvr keeps missing it!

Maybe try dailymotion?

It's actually pretty good, I get the Kara-Tsukemen (spicy)

Santouka's Tsukemen is actually pretty authentic but then again, Santouka as a whole is a carbon copy of the ones you would find the Japan so I'm not surprised. When I was in tokyo there was a place I frequented at naka-meguro which had double cheese Tsukemen. They gave you a cup of melted cheddar cheese and then sprinkled shredded mozzarella on the noodles. It was strangely delicious but too rich for my palate.

I think I'll give it a go as well next time. Going to be hard to pass up the pork cheek ramen!

I went to Santouka for the first time last week AND just watched the Mind of a Chef episode about ramen

It can't be healthy to be eating tsukemen once a week, right?

100% of the people who eat healthy, die, and 100% of the people who don't eat healthy, also die. :D
