no
wait for IPS panel to go on sale...a good deal on 22-23" would be in the $180-220 range.

Have a TN panel at work and it's utter crap compared to my IPS one at home. How does LED IPS compare to the two? Is it just a middle road solution?

LED is just the backlighting technology. Shouldn't affect viewing angles much. Regardless IPS anything is better than ANY MVA/TN technology.

I just ordered a Dell 27" IPS LED S2740L for $289. Only 1080P but good enough for my needs.

I looked at the LG IPS screen at NCIX but the refresh rate is 12ms? Since it'll be for gaming I ended up going with the Asus that's on sale.

My brother just picked up the HP 2311xi (IPS) from Futureshop for $129.99. Pricematched the 2311x (non-IPS) from Best Buy.

I fucking love newb salespeople
