December 21st will be the biggest gongshow end of the world party event ever. I don't think anyone takes that shit seriously.

Is the number 12 considered lucky in some cultures? Global news was reporting how many people were getting married on 12/12/12 and some exactly at 12:12pm.

American couple welcomes baby born at 12:12 on 12-12-12 after labour lasting about 12 hours

BOSTON - Noelle Joy Klinker's parents welcomed her into the world at 12:12 p.m. on 12-12-12 after her mother was in labour for about 12 hours.

Weighing 9 pounds and one ounce (4.1 kilograms), the 21.5-inch (55-centimetre)-long infant was born Wednesday at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston to parents Colleen and Joe Klinker.

Her proud papa, a 31-year-old Coast Guard lieutenant and public affairs officer, said the timing was mostly a coincidence. At 12:11 p.m., Colleen Klinker saved the final push until the clock ticked to a minute later.

Noelle's dad said her arrival was a special blessing after he and his wife lost a daughter Melody at childbirth last October.

In Russia 12 is considered a good number. I think that goes for all the Eastern Orthodox countries as 12 represents the 12 apostles. Also 1+2 = 3, which represents the Holy Trinity.

My family for one believes in the above and we always considered 12 lucky... All of our car license plates add up to 12. When I played football, my number added up to 12...

The 21st better not be the end of the world, it's my last day of work before my first holiday's in almost a year. I guess on the bright side I won't have to go back to work in the new year. :)
