Computer Cases Hey everyone! First off thanks for the input! :) I have a Antec 900 Case (version 1) and looking to change. I find that the newer parts that I have been accumulating for a new P.C. seems to be tight in the case and was wondering. What would you guys suggest? Looking for a mid-size case as well but if you guys suggest a full tower, i'd like to see why. I still use my PC to game so i worry about temp and things like that, but I do not know much about all the new stuff in the PC world. Any suggestions I would appreciate it. |
Have you looked at the Antec three hundred two? The specs suggest that it is only marginally larger than your nine hundred, but I find that because of the way the (internal) drive bays are oriented, you end up getting a bit more space on the motherboard side. The case can easily swallow up the longer (longest?) gaming boards, has an extra 2 hidden/semi-hidden places for 2.5" drives, and the cooling also looks like it is a bit better in the three hundred two. Last but not least, this case is cheap (in price), but doesn't seem flimsy or cheaply made at all. Mind you, at the end of the day, it is still a mid-size case, and I suspect that as long as you stay with this size, you aren't going to get a whole lot more room. Let's see a pic of your current box and see how crowded the inside is? |
video card too long? trying to stick a radiator? hard to make suggestions if you don't let us know what you don't like about your 900 design-wise. |
antec eleven hundred is quite nice. Also the corsair cases like 600t, 650 etc. Good cable management and airflow. |
