Help with telus email

So I gave my old HTC smartphone to my mom and setup her telus email on there so she would have it on mobile if shes out...

how on her computer shes getting a receive error about another device is using it..

after reading around that if I shut down the email app for 10mins, the pop lock would go away on the computer.. great just have to wait 10mins..

anyways.. is there anyway to get her telus email on the phone without having this error? so she can use it on her pc and mobile if shes out..

Call telus and have them switch email to imap, then configure both the pc and cell phone to imap.telus.net instead of pop.telus.net
