Pretty clean winter beater

How much did it cost if you if I may ask

Vulgate 12-01-2013 10:34 PM

Really?

Will the beater be sufficiently safe in case of an accident? Does it have ABS, side airbags, or even airbags? Based on the deal it does sound like a very old beater. Just hope it's safe.

Less than a grand... It has rust on both quarters and a banged up driver's door but I don't care about the body as long as it doesn't get me stuck during winter

dared3vil0 12-01-2013 10:43 PM

The Si is a way better winter car. HLSD, good snowies (DO NOT BUY PERFORMANCE SNOWS) and you'll go anywhere. I passed countless 4x4' and AWD vehicles on the s2s when i had an 8th gen Si.

Hey bro, I talked to Jerry at eurocharged a few weeks ago. They are looking to do a Dyno tune day in Vancouver at the end of January. Go to Mbworld.com to sign up.

It really depends what you drive in the summer, the love of the summer car makes it worth it. Not always about costs.

So far my winter beater is saving me money. 2.2 instead of 4.6 and half the cost to insure. Saving about 300/month right now and can easily sell it for what I paid

My winter beater/truck costs slightly more than my summer car on gas but it totally makes up for it on insurance costs and not having to give a fuck if someone dings it, hits it, burns it etc.

westopher 12-02-2013 01:41 PM

I've lived here for 3 years now and I'm still waiting for this "winter" everyone seems to keep talking about. I'd love something for shred trips, but also care about my safety more than my car, and what I can afford for a winter vehicle would definitely not be safer being that it would be some little shitbox 88 Jetta or something. As for the city, we might see snow once. I'll take the bus that day.

No, the real deal.

88.5 model year. Owner paid $125,000 which I think is a steal for a Lambo :ahwow:
