Broken Samsung S2 worth fixing?

I have a S2 unlock with a broken charging port.

I been quoted 50 dollars to replace it

Should I repair and sell it? or just try and sell as is?

How much would a broken S2 go for?

Don't know
The charging port is messed up.
It will only charge if you hold the cable @ a certain angle

$50 will depend on how old the phone is, does it have other issues and how much longer you plan on using it. You can also explore selling it or trading it in and see how much on top to get a new phone

i had this problem years ago with my old htc hd2. the connection from the usb port to the phone itself is wearing out, and sooner or later, the port will just break off. i never fixed mine because after discovering what happened, i broke the screen putting it back together and was gonna cost me 200 to fix it all.

i'd say $50 is pretty good to maintain a working phone, unless you wanna spend money getting spare batteries and an external charger and swapping it out

$50 is a good deal. The S2 is still a very capable phone.

I have fixed several of my friends' iphone and samsung parts, it's not difficult to buy the part and install it. eBay has it for $7 shipped

Most people will shy away from a broken phone so if anything, its opportunity cost which you should be concerned about but different people have different priorities. Your mileage may vary.

I'm thinking $100 to $150 on average?
