Adobe - CS2 Downloads

It's freely available apparently - no 'trick' necessary. Just download and install! :fullofwin:

Heard about it earlier this morning, but couldn't find the link. I'll keep checking the site every now and then to see when it comes back up, but I'd appreciate it if other folks found the site to be working again, and let us know here on the thread.

Go here: Adobe Creative Suite CS2 Standard (PC or Mac Digital Download) Free (Adobe Account Required) - Adobe Deals, Coupons and Promos

Scroll down to the wiki community board, and you'll see someone posted all the direct links and serials. I'd copy and paste 'em here, but I'm too fucking lazy.

Interesting... read through some comments, and the current version is CS6, so this is four versions old, and was released more than seven years ago, back in 2005.

There are some compatibility issues with Windows 7, but shouldn't be a show stopper.

I'm not a power user, so this is perfectly fine for me! I like the Photoshop interface more than Paint.NET

Looking at the sick deals link it looks like they are giving a lot more free including Adobe creative suite.

Why get CS2 for free when you can get CS6 for free?

asian_XL 01-07-2013 07:36 PM

I am still using CS3, good enough for most designing at work

UPDATE, 2:40 p.m. PT: There has been clarification since this story broke. Adobe has not released the CS2 software for free. Instead, it has cancelled its CS2 license management servers, so for those with existing licenses it is now offering downloads that do not require contact with the licensing servers. This service is only going to be available for those with existing Adobe CS2 licenses, which will be verified when creating the Adobe account to download the software.

If you're going to be downloading this, might as well go pirate CS6.

StylinRed 01-09-2013 05:00 AM

or buy it with a student discount

SkinnyPupp 01-09-2013 05:10 AM

Yeah that's lame, I thought it was a nice promo on EOL software

InvisibleSoul 01-09-2013 08:37 AM

Does SkinnyPupp get points for posting info on how to pirate software? :troll:

SkinnyPupp 01-10-2013 06:49 AM

Updated the link - I am back to thinking that this actually is a freely available download, and is not a mistake or something like that. Considering they are giving you the serial # as well
