Corvette is not like Porsche 911 where they progressed from previous generation.
For example, if you look at C1 or C2 Corvette, can you tell the resembles in C7 or even C6?
If you look at Porsche 911, you can easily tell it's the 911 at any generation.
Whereas Corvette...at some generation it could be Nissan Z car, Ferrari, etc.

This car looks bausss! Might have to be my next car! Only reason i never picked up a domestic car b4 was due to the shitty interiors. You cant beat the price for what you get. Power, great looks in both departments interior/exterior with a price tag of 60 g? Cant complain!

That's why I said from the C4 onwards. As much as I love the 911, it's an inferior design and all the Porsche engineers are able to do are tweak the design a bit to keep up with modern technology. There's only so much you can do, design wise, with a jumped up Beetle. :p

Red looks sick! Cant wait 2 see it in black or white. Looks so aggressive! Imagine it lowered on some coils, with a set of DPE'S!

Regardless of the similarities with other models, I think this model will have a tremendous presence on the road...
At first i was critical of the design too... but it's already growing on me.

I love it, I love everything about it. Fanboy'd out while watching the intro video. Gonna take my Vette out for a spin today.

I think people will hate this car even more. While Vettes were kicking Porsches asses for years performance-wise, a Porsche fan could always fall back on the touchy-feely stuff like the crappy interior. Now that the Vette has what appears to be a significant upgrade to the interior there's less for people to bitch about. I wonder what they'll come up with next to bash this Vette? There just HAS to be some flaw with it somewhere that puts it beneath the mighty 911.

Looks awkward from this angle. The 'boxy' ass and the low beek like front just doesn't sit well together imo.

I like it. It may stray a bit from the traditional vette with the rear lights but overall that thing is going to look sexy as fuck on the streets.

I kind of wish they did something different with the rear tail lights to set it apart from the camaro, but regardless it still looks sexy!

Same! I want this car now, but i know if you wait a year or two and grab one form the states you'll be able to get the car for nearly half the price! However, i'm pretty sure its still going be a z06 not a z07. Its always been called the z06 however who knows they might change it, since they are calling it the chevrolet stringray and not corvette.

Yeah you are right! All of them were Z06s so it makes no sense for this one to be a z07. Whatever it will be, definitely worth a wait! I'm a Euro car guy but I always had a soft spot for Vettes. I always hated their interiors though, but this one seems to be exponentially better! Can't wait to see this thing in person.

The Corvette still has the GM interior...I know it's much better than C6's plastic interior, but if you compare it next to the NSX...suddenly the C7 interior looks dated.
