A bigger RDX with the new RL's headlights lol.

rawr 01-15-2013 06:21 PM

Glad they're keeping the SH-AWD!

LP700-4 01-15-2013 06:40 PM

Wonder if they will develop a system with SHAWD and electric motors like in the NSX.

Looks pretty good, rear resembles too much of a Q7 however.

donjalapeno 01-15-2013 08:35 PM

fucken love where Acura is going with its new designs.

nns 01-15-2013 09:05 PM

Yawn.

The new RDX is beyond boring. This is a bigger RDX.

New RLX looks so boring and uninspired.

What's it take for Acura to make good looking cars again, like the 2008 TL? Public executions?

I drive an Acura now. I'd like to show some brand loyalty to them, or Honda in general, but all they do is disappoint.

ApePee2 01-15-2013 09:10 PM

not bad definitely looks better then the previous gens :notbad:

AVS_Racing 01-15-2013 09:20 PM

a tiny step in the right direction but im pretty sure production model will be uglier

beproud 01-16-2013 05:48 PM

I don't know:( my favorite was the 2008

twitchyzero 01-16-2013 06:15 PM

StylinRed 01-16-2013 06:18 PM

go drive a new Accord, will change your mind :nyan:

Akinari 01-16-2013 09:52 PM

Well, the design works. I don't see why a dramatic change is necessary when the car still looks great, so IMO this is perfect.

Ludepower 01-16-2013 10:22 PM

dont see any major changes...guess that's a good thing

Timpo 01-16-2013 10:24 PM

not much different the current MDX except the LED and stuff...

I also think Acura's new cars are too bland but the new RDX is selling like hotcakes, in fact its sales numbers have blown away the previous generation's numbers so they must be doing something right.

jpark 01-16-2013 11:14 PM

no more dual exhaust :(

Funny you should mention that. I've been looking at the 2013 Accord Coupe V6 lately.

Almost the same power figures as a '08 TL-S but only needs regular gas. Bonus is cylinder deactivation. TL-S still beats it in looks though.

I like the current gen MDX the most. This new one went nuts on LEDs.

I think it has to do with them changing the power plant from the only one being used in current Honda production car (2.3L turbo 4) to the widely produced 3.5L V6 they have. Also the fact they downgraded the SH-AWD system to the crvs real time awd most likely kept the cost low
