Good place locally to buy aftermarket VW parts? I am buying a second hand golf soon, and I will need to replace the brakes and rotors. I dont want to go OEM at the dealership cause they cost an arm and a leg. I have been browsing at American base webpages (Germanautoparts, TireRack, etc) for prices but I would like to see if there are any good sources here locally that is somewhat competitive to US pricing? Also, any VW owners recommend a shop that offers reasonable price for brake and other maintenance work? |
Go to forum vendors? The Speed Syndicate is great and I am sure they can offer you a great price on parts. |
is bow-wow still around?? |
Hey Eddy, That one is easy, go to Shift Autosport in Burnaby. Sead |
Rock Auto. Or if you can get away with a used part, try Gordon's VW or Autobahn in Langley. |
I've had good experience with vm autohaus in burnaby. They sell quality german and oem parts and the guy there knows his stuff and has had everything in stock that I need. I think shift autosport is a few doors down from vm autohaus but I have no experience with them. |

Pg performance in surrey...they are the aftermarket shop for euro especially vw's. Posted via RS Mobile |
Brakes and rotors you can go to RS sponsors. For other specialty parts or specific oem parts just go to VM Autohaus. Posted via RS Mobile |
maybe try HPA Motorsports Inc. - Golf R. they were featured in gran turismo 4 and located in surrey. |

I recommend PG Performance in Surrey. Great guys, great prices and they have lots of experience doing pretty much everything imaginable on VW's. Just had my DSG flush done by them for my 2010 GTI and they were much better priced than the dealer. |
Agreed with PG. Also shift in burnaby if its easier to get to is a good second choice. |
