Win7 tablet? Need some recommendations for a win7 tablet, I don't need anything fancy, I just need something light for work and a tablet that will let me log-on to windows remote desktop. |
I love the new win tables but I find them to be quite pricey. Any reason why you're just looking at Windows? I ask because there are remote options for iPads and Android tablets. |

Asus vivo tablet is prob the one of the better choices if u are looking for a windows tab. I think I saw it on sale for 399 with a free dock too. Posted via RS Mobile |
That's probably an RT tablet, can't RDP into it. OP, do you need Win 7 or is Win 8 okay? |
Yes it's a Rt tablet. But for his usage he stated. It's perfect. Posted via RS Mobile |
You are going to have a tough time finding a Windows 7 tablet when everything coming out is windows 8. I have a Lenovo Twist laptop that has a screen that rotates to a tablet, Acer has a tablet with a Intel Atom CPU for around $700. |
Win8 would work as long as I have RDP. My budget is under $500. |
i was going to suggest the Vaio Duo 11 i love using that but at $500 you could get a windows RT tablet and have RDP (surface tablet etc) Microsoft's Surface RT: Using existing Windows apps remotely | ZDNet |
For $500 you can get a full blown Windows 8 tablet: Asus VivoTab Smart ME400C-C1-BK Tablet, Black w/ Atom Z2760, 2GB, 64GB SSD, 10.6in HD, Win 8 at Memory Express |
