Help: No Audio output (Software issue) Hey RSers :okay: I'm in a bit of a pickle here, tried Googling for results but found nothing that was extremely relevant. I have a Corsair SP2500, it's about a month old, and it's been working 100% until tonight, when I installed a wireless adapter to my motherboard (MSI P67A). I put my computer back together, booted it up, and all of a sudden I have no sound output from the left. I'm almost entirely sure it's NOT a hardware issue: I put the audio jack into 2 other devices (my phone and an old ipod), and those worked perfectly. Then, I plugged in my headset into the back end audio input, same thing happens: sound on the right, but only buzzing on the left. I updated all of the relevant drivers (I think?), but still nothing. Anybody ever had this kind of thing happen to them before? Could I have fucked something up while installing my network adapter? Thanks in advance guys. |
Is your computer's audio balance set all the way to the left? Open up the volume/mixer control and have a look. |

any basic sound options from control panel I've already checked I'm guessing it might have something to do with my mobo |
Have you tried System Restore back to a time before the wifi install? That's saved my bacon a few times. Also, if you have multiple audio jacks, see if you can configure a different one for speaker output. |
just tried, no bacon :( |
