SIN card

I just recently got hired as a reception in a dental office (I think I am hired, got trained for an hr a half and worked one day from 9-4 and continuing. I'm only working once a week because of school and probably will be able to work 2x a week when classes change. My question is, my employer hasn't asked for my Social Insurance number and he said he pays by cheque at the end of the month every month. I'm still on a 3 month probation to see if I'm qualify. I asked him 2x already and he hasn't answer my question..should I be worried?

You're required to be paid at least twice a month. (Source)

You should call the Employment Standards Branch to get some real concrete answers to your questions; they're helpful!: 1-800-663-3316

If employer does not want your SIN, he/she is most likely trying to do business under the table.

On the plus side, you can threaten to call the CRA as leverage
