Post Screen and Bios not full screen

Tittle states it all, whenever i boot my computer it boots in a lower resolution until I get into windows log in screen. I know its not my monitor because I plugged it into another computer and it loads up full screen on post and bios. It's been bothering me lately

My motherboard is a Gigabyte Z68X-UD3H-B3 rev 1.3 and GPU is GTX 680 FTW

Out of curiosity, why does it bother you?

I have two monitors and one boots at a different resolution than the other...been doing so for the past 5 years lol, on many different video cards.

iunno something about it just irritates me

go grab a cup of water when you boot up?

Different monitors handle BIOS/Graphics on post and boot differently. Nothing you can really do about it. Mine only lasts like a few seconds anyways or by the time I turn on the screen it's already past it.

:seriously:

I also have a Z77 gigabyte and the splash screen isn't full screen...it lasts no more than 5 seconds
